RECIPE: SUGAR COOKIE BARS RECIPE

We love these Sukker cookie Bars! They are so delicious and easy to make. They are perfect for when you need to bring a dessert to a family party or get together. They taste just like your favorite Sukker cookie but without all the work of rolling them out!

Now, I am not a big fan of frosting. I like to have just a thin little line of frosting to add a little bit of flavor to my Sugar Cookie Bar. So when I make them, I only add a little bit of frosting. But I realize that there are some of you who are frosting lovers. You can pile the frosting as thick as you want to make it just right for you and your taste preferences.

Go ahead and whip some of these up…I think you are really going to like them. Tonight is a great night to test them out…even if you don’t have anyone to share them with.

Sukker cookie Bars

Cookie Barer:

3/4 cup butter, room temperature

1 kop granuleret sukker

1 æg

1 æggehvide

1 1/2 Tbsp sour cream

1 tsk vanilje ekstrakt

1/4 tsp peppermint extract

2 1 / 2 kopper all-purpose mel

1 / 2 tsk bagepulver

1 / 2 tsk salt

3 / 4 cup chokoladechips

 

Pebermynte Frosting:

1/4 cup salted butter , softened

2 kopper pulveriseret sukker

2-3 Tbsp half and half

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp peppermint extract

knust slikrør

Instruktioner:

  1. Forvarm ovnen til 375 grader.
  2. Smør en 13 ″ x 9 ″ bageplade, sæt den til side.
  3. I en skål kombineres mel, bagepulver og salt, der er afsat.
  4. I skålen med en elektrisk mixer piskes smør og sukker sammen, indtil det er let og luftigt omkring 3-4 minutter.
  5. Bland æg og æggehvide ind, indtil det er godt kombineret.
  6. Add sour cream, vanilla and peppermint extract and mix until blended.
  7. Tilsæt langsomt tørre ingredienser og rør, indtil de er kombineret.
  8. Mix in chokoladechips.
  9. Grease a spatula and gently press cookie bar mixture into greased baking dish.
  10. Bages 15 - 17 minutter på 375 grader, indtil tandstikker indsat i midten kommer rent ud. Må ikke koges for meget.
  11. Afkøles helt, frost og skæres i firkanter.

Frosting:

  1. I en blandeskål med en elektrisk mixer piskes smør og pulveriseret sukker sammen og halvt halvt indtil det er luftigt.
  2. Stir in vanilla and peppermint uddrag.
  3. Pisk sammen, indtil de er bløde.
  4. Spread onto the cooled cookie bars.
  5. Sprinkle the frosting with crushed slikrør.
